Our Story
Modern Magnolia Events was built on the belief that every couple deserves to experience the joy of their engagement—not the stress of planning it. We believe thoughtful planning, genuine relationships, and intentional design create celebrations that are as meaningful as they are beautiful. Our mission is to provide a seamless, personalized experience, allowing our couples to be fully present while we thoughtfully bring every detail of their vision to life.

Jessica is the Founder and Creative Director of Modern Magnolia Events, where she is passionate about creating thoughtfully planned, beautifully executed celebrations that allow couples to be fully present on one of the most meaningful days of their lives. With a calm, organized approach and a love for intentional design, she believes every wedding should be a true reflection of the couple it celebrates.
In addition to leading Modern Magnolia, Jessica is the Co-Owner of The Social Pour and HAUS by Modern Magnolia, allowing her to provide clients with a seamless experience through wedding planning, bartending services, and content creation.
Outside of weddings, Jessica is a proud wife and mom of two energetic boys. She married her high school sweetheart, Ricky, and together they have built a life centered around faith, family, and creating meaningful memories. Whether she's planning an elegant celebration, spending time with her family, or dreaming up new ideas for her businesses, Jessica brings the same passion, heart, and attention to detail into everything she does.
Her greatest joy is serving couples with genuine care, building lasting relationships, and creating celebrations that are not only beautiful, but unforgettable from beginning to end.

Dakota joined Modern Magnolia Events in 2025 and loves helping every wedding day come together seamlessly. Her favorite moment is just before the ceremony begins—and she's always a sucker for the groom's reaction.
Fun Fact: Dakota is also a future Modern Magnolia bride!

Owner | Flora by Ann Marie
Jordyn is passionate about creating beautiful, thoughtfully planned celebrations and ensuring every couple feels supported throughout their wedding day. She loves watching each couple's vision come to life and being part of the moments they'll remember forever.
Fun Fact: When she's not coordinating weddings, Jordyn is creating beautiful floral designs through her business, Flora by Ann Marie.

With several years of experience in the wedding industry and a background in catering, Kristin brings valuable knowledge, a positive attitude, and a willingness to jump in wherever she's needed. She is a wonderful member of the Modern Magnolia team and is dedicated to helping every wedding day run smoothly.
Fun Fact: Kristin first met the Modern Magnolia team while working one of our very first weddings!
Associate Coordinator & Bartender | Modern Magnolia Events
Shelby loves being part of the behind-the-scenes moments that help every wedding day come together seamlessly. Whether she's coordinating details or serving guests behind the bar, she's dedicated to creating a fun, welcoming, and stress-free experience for every celebration. Having been friends with Jessica for over 17 years, she brings a trusted, supportive presence to the Modern Magnolia team.
Fun Fact: Shelby is a proud boy mom and devoted dog lover who enjoys spending time with her family whenever she's not celebrating with our couples.

With over 10 years of bartending experience, Kylie is passionate about creating a welcoming atmosphere and memorable guest experiences. As Co-Owner of The Social Pour, she loves connecting with guests and helping every celebration feel fun, seamless, and unforgettable. Her favorite part of every wedding is seeing the love and support that surrounds each couple.
Fun Fact: Kylie also has a background as a barista, making her an expert in both coffee and cocktails!
